350 ft Rappelling and 200 ft Valley Crossing at Sandhan Valley and Ratangad Trek

This is not an ordinary trek down the Sandhan Valley or to the Ratangad Fort. This 2 day long adventure will offer many surprises to any person who may or may not have visited this amazing place earlier and offer awe inspiring experiences.

The trek includes descending the Sandhan Valley (the most amazing place in all of Sahyadris) from it's midway by a mind boggling 350 ft rappelling. After the descend we will get back out of the valley near Samrad village and head to the Ratangad Fort from the Trimbak darwaza side.

The itinerary is as follows

Friday

• 11 PM : Leave from Pune and head to Samrad Village

Saturday

• Reach Samrad village and rest

• 6 AM : Breakfast & Tea

• 7 AM : Begin trek towards Sandhan Valley.

• 9 AM - 12 PM : Descend the Valley turn by turn which includes 350 ft of Rapelling, and after descending have lunch

• 2 PM - 4 PM : Climb the valley backward towards Samrad Village and take the route that heads to Ratangad through the Trimbak darwaza.

• 5 PM - 8 PM : Reach Ratangad where we will stay for the night. Dinner will be served followed by various fun activities ( campfire, playing mafia etc). Accommodation will be in closed cave.

Sunday

• 6 AM : Wake up call to witness the mesmerizing sunrise from the needle point.

• 7 AM : Have breakfast & Tea

• 8 AM : Head back to Samrad Village

• 11 AM : Reach Samrad Village where we will have lunch and head back to Pune.

• Reach Pune between 7 PM - 8PM with wonderful memories

Tentative Fees : Rs. 2650/- 
(Includes travel from Pune to Pune, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and Breakfast and Lunch , Accomodation in caves) 
Fees exclude provisions for providing packaged drinking water and all the things not explicitly mentioned above.

Things to carry:

1.ID Proof Compulsory

2.Dry Food (snacks, plum cakes, biscuits).

3.Torch (Must) with extra cell.

4.Personal First Aid Kit (Medicine you usually required).

5.Cap, goggle, sunscreen etc….

6.Camera (Optional).

7.Water Bottle (at least 3 Liters ) (Must)

8.Full Pant and full sleeve shirt (Must)

9.Good Trekking Shoes (Must).

10.Extra Pair of Clothes. (2 Pairs)

11.Sleeping Bag/Bedsheets Etc.
