Mr P Seshadri is a CMC -Certified Management Consultant who started his career with M/s Nippon Denro Ispat Limited, the flagship company of ISPAT group, as technical training officer in 1990.
Appreciating his creativity and initiativeness, the seniors at ISPAT groomed him as Manager (HRD & TQM). His responsibilities mainly were assistance in various OD interventions including TQM initiatives; Safety, Health & Environment Cell, developing HR sub-systems etc.
He believes that it is the experience and exposure to good management practices during his tenure (1990 – 2000) at ISPAT that has helped him to achieve his aspirations and growth plans. Re-living moments of joy and the experiences at ISPAT still lingers on ...till today ...which is everlasting .
The consulting career of Seshadri begin in year 2000 and he could formally launch his own enterprise 'ODC - Organisation Development Consultants' on 22.02.2002. the auspicious date which comes once in a millennium . ODC begin its journey with its vision of 'Engineering Improvements' in industries by using ISO standards . With such focus , it grew from a home office to a small organized set up, serving the industries mainly in the state of Andhra Pradesh and in others parts of India as and when opportunities came.
He is a qualified graduate engineer in production & industrial engineering with post graduate qualifications in industrial management, quality improvements, HRD etc . He had his opportunities of learning at MDI, XLRI and few other reputed management institutions as part of his management development while serving ISPAT .
He has served on various committees of QCFI, NIPM, NHRDN, QCI, Vidharbha Industries Association, HRD Forum, IMCI, JCI, Rotary, ISTD, Nagpur Management Association, etc. He has to his credits conceptualization and organizing of several conferences, seminars, workshops, training programmes, motivational talks while serving these committees.
He has written and published series of articles for a leading newspaper in central India, which was titled as 'Executive Capsules” as it was meant for growing professionals. Also selective assignments as visiting faculty for management programmes were undertaken by him at Nagpur.
ISO Campus (ODC Learning Centre) & HRD Engineers are two more enterprising initiatives of Seshadri to serve the industry in the space and scale possible. He has also conceptualized training capsules based on experiential learning concepts for employees of the industries.
He has written a book titled " The Power of ISO Standards - Choose it, Use it, Feel it " which is mainly sharing the perspectives & personal experiences.
