Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues and the fascia that covers the body, helping to regulate the flow of energy to sustain wellbeing. It is unique in that the practitioner is asked to relax into the posture, soften the muscle and move closer to the bone. Poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
A result is a form of yoga that takes you much deeper into the meditative state, has a greater effect on long-term wellbeing than conventional yoga styles and offers the practitioner a wonderful practice to seek a restorative dimension.

This workshop will be a well-rounded approach to opening the main aspects of the body, as well as turning inwards to cultivate our relationship with ourselves and to stillness. Open to all levels and abilities.
This workshop is extremely beneficial for Athletes, Dancers, regular yoga & meditation practitioners and is open to people of all abilities.

A Lavannya is 500 hours Internationally Trained Yoga Instructor, teaching Hatha Yoga since 2013 and a RYS100 hours Yin Yoga Teacher trained with Sebastian and Murielle.
