Sunrisers Hyderabad would take on Pune Warriors in the 3rd IPL match of the IPL tournament. The match will be hosted at Hyderabad. Schedule time for IPL match is 20:00 Local Time (14:30 GMT). The match of Pune vs Hyderabad is schedule to be played in the month of April 2013. The schedule match between Hyderabad vs Pune would be Day/Night and will be played under flood light condition at Hyderabad.

Resold and slightly repackaged, Hyderabad are back in the IPL with a new name and a rather easy opening awaits them when they take on last season's laggards Pune Warriors on Friday.

Missing from the line-up of the Sunrisers Hyderabad, as they are called now, would be star batsman Shikhar Dhawan, who knocked up the fastest Test century on debut against Australia last month.

The star batsman is nursing a hand injury and is likely to miss the first few matches of the event.

Despite this, the Sunrisers would be quite a handful for the Warriors. The team, which retained Kumar Sangakkara as captain despite having a different owner after Deccan Chronicle Group pulled out due to its financial woes.

In the batting department, Sangakkara, South Africa's JP Duminy, Sri Lanka's Thisara Perera and Australian Twenty20 specialist Cameron White along with India's Parthiv Patel make the team highly competitive.

Pune Warriors, on the other hand, suffered a setback when Australian Michael Clarke was ruled out of the entire IPL season due to a recurring back injury.

But the return of Yuvraj Singh and the presence of Sri Lanka's Angelo Mathews, Ajantha Mendis and New Zealand's Ross Taylor has bolstered the team.

The Warriors, coached by former South African great Allan Donald, also feature some promising domestic stars such as all-rounder like Abhishek Nayar and Parveez Rasool, the first player from Jammu and Kashmir to have been signed by an IPL franchise.

The Indian Premier League is a professional league for Twenty20 cricket championship. The Premier League is considered to be the world's showcase for Twenty20 cricket, a shorter format of cricket consisting only 20 over’s. Top Indian and international players take part in IPL, contributing to what is the world's ‘richest cricket tournament’. The inaugural season of the tournament started on 18 April 2008 and lasted for 43 days with 59 matches scheduled. The final was played in DY Patil Stadium, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. In the nail biting final the Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings in a thriller and emerged as the inaugural IPL champions.

The 6th edition of the IPL is scheduled opened in February 2013 with the auction for players. 108 players were on offer but only 37 players were sold for US$ 11.87 million. The only player to be the million dollar cricketer was the Australian all rounder Glenn Maxwell. Deccan Chargers were ousted from the league almost five-months ago and in place of the Chargers a new team the Sunrisers will play from the 2013. The tournament will run from 3 April to 26 May 2013 with Kolkata and Chennai hosting the playoffs. Kolkata's Eden Gardens will host the first match as well as the final as they were the champions of the 2012 season.
