Pune Inspire is a non-profit Initiative on the lines of TEDx Talks. We invite Speakers from different walks of life to come present their Work, their Vision and their Ideas for a better Society, a better Tomorrow for Pune-ites. Post the Event, some of those Ideas are selected and rolled out into Pune as a grass-roots community based movement.
Pune Inspire's work is divided into two parts - (i) An Annual one-day Event and, (ii) Projects carried forward. Last year, we adopted Waste Management and Sustainability as our two Initiatives post the Annual Event. Several projects have been kicked off in Baner and neighboring areas under this banner - Clean-up Drives, Awareness Campaigns, Composting workshops, Terrace Gardening groups, Planting Drives etc. It's slowly trickling down to various communities in the area.
This year's Annual Event theme is Road Safety, Traffic &Transportation Management and the Future of Mobility. There will be a Panel comprising of the PMC Commissioner, the Police and the Dy.Traffic Commissioners, the PMPNL Commissioner and the Pune Collector where these topics will be discussed.
Prior to that, we will have a series of Speakers giving short Talks on various subjects, mostly related to our theme this year. These Speakers include Pranjali Deshpande, Bachi Karkaria, Milind Soman, Svati Bhatkal, Ritu Nathani, Mr.Raj Gilda, Dr. Yogesh Kulkarni, Mr.Abhay Damle etc. I have attached the details of the speakers with this mail for your reference.
