About Place: Hampi was the capital of Vijayanagar(14th century empire). The ruins of the empire is spread over the area of 26 sq km.The ruins of Hampi, as it is known today, is a vast open museum of history, architecture and religion.Hampi Hampi is packed with countless number of monuments & other attractions. The most popular ones are:
Vittala Temple : This temple complex dedicated to Vittala, a form of the Hindu god Vishnu is an architectural highlight of Hampi.
Virupaksha Temple: This temple dedicated to the Hindu god of destruction is located at a riverbank .
Royal Enclosure: The seat of the erstwhile kings, this is a fortified campus.
Kadalekalu Ganesha: This is a giant statue of the elephant headed Hindu god Ganesha
Krishna Temple: This temple is dedicated to lord Krishna, one of the ten incarnations of lord Vishnu.
Lotus Mahal:This ornate structure was probably used by the military chief as his office or the queens of the palace as a pleasure pavilion.
Itinerary:Day-1: start to Hoospet Train/Bus
Day-2: Sat 5:00 am reach hoospet
8:00 am Rooms fresh up /breakfast
9:00 am Zenana Enclosure, Watch Towers, Guard's Quarters, Hazara Rama Temple, Elephant's Stables, King's Audience Hall, King's Palace, Throne Platform, Octagonal Water Pavillion, Octagonal Bath, Chandrasekhara Temple &c starting from Pattabhi Rama Temple via the Domed Gate.
04:00 pm Walk/get a ride to the Sati Memorials near the Turuttu Channel. Visit Krishna temple, Kadalaikallu and Sasivekallu Ganesa.
06:00 pm Watch sunset from Hemakuta Jain Temples.
07:30 pm Reach Hampi Bazar. Dinner, night walk to Chakratirtha and Star gazing for a while.
09:30 pm Good night
Day-3: Sun 05:00 am To Matanga Parvatam via Hampi Bazaar and Monolithic Bull
06:00 am sunrise view from Matunga Hill
06:30 am Achyutaraya Temple, Soolai Bazaar
07:30 am Light breakfast. Coracle ride to Rishyamuka and Anjaneya Hill via Chakratirtha and continue towards Anegondi.
10:00 am Explore the NE Hampi upto Anegondi and cover the famous parts of this old capital till Talarigattu and get back to Hampi Bazaar.
04:00 pm Reach Vittala Temple. Spend some time there.
05:00 pm Visit Pampapati temple.
05:30 pm Pack bags, Dinner and leave.
Day-4: Mon Reach Hyd bye bye
the tentative itinerary will be changed accordingly to cover all the 83 prominent places.
What to wear: Do not wear tight clothes,Wear Cotton clothes if possible as it will be hot climate.

Guidelines: Hampi is spred over 26 Sq kms an approx of 40-50 kms overall distance there are 83 noted spots over all we shall be covering in 2 days.
