Description

Introduction

“Perform or perish” is the situation for many Indian Companies. For this, companies are identifying number of good strategies. Research shows that a majority of organizations fail to achieve their mission and are unable to deliver results promised by their strategic and operational plans. The reason behind such failure most often lies not with the strategy, but the organization’s ability to execute by alignment of processes and people with strategies.

Accountants communicate with financial statements. Engineers communicate with as built drawings. Architects communicate with physical models. Every profession has some means of communicating clearly to the end user. However, for people engaged in strategic planning there has been an on-going dilemma. The finished product, the strategic plan, has not communicated and reached the end user. Sure strategic plans are nice to look at, full of bar charts, nice covers, well written, and professionally prepared; but they simply have not impacted the people who must execute the strategic plan.

Balanced Score Card is the best tool for achieving this. It will help in validating your Strategies in a structured framework through “ Strategy Map” by establishing Cause and Effect relation in BSC Perspectives and deployment through “Balanced Score Card framework ”. Harvard Business Review quoted

that “The Balanced Score Card is one of the most important management practices of the past 75 years”.
