About EEMA

 

1) EEMA was established in 2008 and has now become a well known force to reckon with.

2) EMA is a registered, non profit body of companies operating in the Event Management, Experiential Marketing & Brand Activation space across India.

3) The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) is the unified voice of the Events industry to the Government, statutory bodies, taxation  authorities and private licensing bodies and will seek to protect its members' interests in all these foray.

4) It  is a repository of knowledge for its members in terms of providing a databank on venues, artists and vendors and advising its members on safety standards, employee codes of conduct and best practices of the industry.

5) The Event and Entertainment Industry has grown exponentially over the last two decades with several thousand entities operating in this space in various segments and at various levels across the country.

 

ANNUAL EEMA CONVENTION

 

1) The association is busy in several activities through out the year like workshops, technological training, talent development, lobbying with government bodies, etc. This has resulted in awareness and learning amongst the event players and helped Indian event industry to develop on global standards. Our annual convention is one such knowledge sharing platform .

2) The main aim of the annual convention is to highlight the achievements and milestones of the events and experiential marketing industry over the year and discuss the bright and lucrative future of the fast growing industry.

 

 

Objective 

 

1) To make people think and focus upon the “Experience Quotient” and bring about a visible change in the industry.

2) Besides this, our convention will also impart knowledge, create desire and show direction towards the new age global market of events.

3) EEMAGINE this year will be held between July 18-20, 2014 at Kochi, the commercial capital of God’s Own country – Kerala. The endeavor is to showcase the phenomenal natural beauty of the city and the state.

4) Le Meridien, Kochi has been chosen as the preferred venue for the convention

EEMAX AWARDS 2014

 

1) One of the largest industry gatherings is motivated to get together at the Le Meridien for the EEMAX Awards on the eve of 20th of July 2014.

2) An award ceremony like no other where the makers of the best award ceremonies come together to acknowledge their own work of the year.

3) Intelligent humor and entertainment relevant to the industry has been the highlight of EEMAX awards – behind the scenes excitement, sharing of inside jokes, funny moments, unreasonable demands and all the other things the industry has to live with is showcased in a way that we feel proud of, being a part of the madness.
