Live performance Psy Trance.
Deep, Shamanic Soundscapes evoking ancient rituals and future dimensions. Live didgeridoo, Mouth harp and vocals add a spontaneous edge. Coupled with a dynamic stage presence, a multi faceted performance.
In 1995 Jovis had an artistic awakening, discovering the didgeridoo, the mouth harp, dj'ing and performance art with body paint all at around the same time.
In 2000 Jovis began to play professionally, first with bands in Goa such as Yankadi and Kundalini Airport.
In 2003 he started with Cyril Kollock the downtempo project Shiva Subcontracor, which resulted in the release of the LP of the same name that year. This project brought together for the first time his love of acoustic instruments and electronica.
From 2005 to 2015 he was a member of Goatika. Through the years playing at many festivals in Europe, including the Boom(Portugal), Ozora(Hungary), and Antares(Germany) as well as many parties in Goa.
In 2008 he formed the psy dub project Buddha Tech with Bruce "Raven" Tupling, which resulted in playing in the chill out at the Boom Festival that same year.
During these years he played as a guest with various bands and artists, including Gaudi, Master Margherita and other members of the Peaking Goddess Collective.
In 2014 a collaboration began with Ajja which resulted in Jovis’ psy trance project.
With his solo psy trance and downtempo sets he has played at many festivals throughout Europe, including Psy-Fi(Netherlands), Blackmoon(Italy), Modem(Croatia) and Trimurti(Russia). He has also played at many parties in Goa.
What makes Jovis’ show unique is his combination of playing live instruments, performance with solid electronic beats.
Calling himself Jovis A.K.A. Mr Pink unites all of his various skills that delivers a high energy performance on stage that continues to rock the crowd.
