About The Event

Trek to Dudhsagar Falls & Trip to Goa

There is more to Goa than its beaches mostly in monsoon season and there are many adventure activities that one can take part in, away from the sea. Trekking is one such activity.

Dudhsagar falls is a four tiered three streamed waterfall named for its milky waters, with clear swimming pools, surrounded by dense forests, sitting high up in the Western Ghats. It is often considered to be one of the world’s most exquisite falls located in the Indian state of Goa falling on the Goa Karnataka border. It is a major part of Goa’s eco system. It is listed as India’s fifth tallest waterfalls and is 227th in the world ranking at 1017 feet. During monsoon months, the falls transforms into one of the most powerful and spectacular falls in India. The area is surrounded by deciduous forests and varied flora and fauna abounds here.

Dudhsagar fall is located on the Mandovi River, 60 KM from the town of Panjim. There are many treks organized here during the monsoon months and it is sight to behold. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state of Goa in addition to all the beaches.

Trek to Dudhsagar falls would definitely prove to be both adventurous and relaxing as the views are breath-taking.
