India’s Datacentre market currently valuing at $2.2 billion is expected to touch $ 4.5 billion mark by 2018. It is predicted that India would move to be the second-largest market for datacentres in Asia Pacific by 2020, with investments reaching $7 billion. The largest data centre in India is to be constructed in Hyderabad, with negotiations to secure a US-based anchor tenant underway. The Telangana state government is planning the construction of the facility to support its strategic aims in the fields of cyber security, data analytics, open data, and in developing the country’s digital networks.
