Certified Business Analyst (CBA) ® is a 6 day program spread over as many weekends conducted by ANISAN, to enable novices to embark on career as BA and expereinced BA to strenghten their knowledgebase.
The course involves theory and practical of part of the Business Analysis Role. This course helps participants gain complete insight into the role of Business Analysis and prepares them to join any company as a fresh yet knowledgeable Business Analyst. After successful completion, the certification is awarded by ANISAN.This course does not presume either IT knowledge or experience as Business Analysts. However a business orientation (not necessarily an MBA) and some IT exposure is preferred but NOT mandatory.
Suitable: for 0-3 years expereinced Business Analyst who is keen in lauching the Business Analysis Career. This is also suitable for new Business Analyst to strenghten their knowledge and plan proper career in the area of Business Analysis using various International Standards and Certification options in future.
This course is based on A Guide to The Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide), Version 3.0, published by IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) ®) & Requirement Engineering by Klaus Pohl & Chris Rupp (syllabus for CPRE ® exam conducted from IREB ®), Germany). Broad course content is as follows:
Part I – Introduction
Introduction to Business Analysis (Key concepts)
Software Development Life Cycle (Traditional and Agile or predictive vs adaptive)
Role of Business Analyst in various Software Development Methodologies.
Define Business Need
Define Solution Scope
Define Business Case
Part II - Requirement Management (based on BABOK Guide® from IIBA®and Business Analysis from BCS®and Requirement Engineering from IREB®)
Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring.
Elicitation and Collaboration
Requirement Analysis and Design
Business Analysis Techniques
Part III - Practical
Case Study driven approach that includes all Business Analysis Deliverables (Business Need, Solution Scope, Business Case, BRD, FRD, Traceability Matrix, UML - Use Case, State Diagram, Activity Diagram, Class Diagram...etc) during entire Software Developement Life Cycle. It also have assignments and Project as a part of Practicals.
ANISAN provide question bank for preparing for the interview
There will be Exam towards end of the course.
