**The workshop is for children ABOVE 7 YEARS YEARS OF AGE**
The art of quilling dates back to the Renaissance when French and Italian monks use quills (the shaft of a feather) to roll thin strips of paper into ornate designs.
Quilled paper art can be found on wedding invitations, greeting cards, jewelry, ornaments, and much more. Quilling has become popular worldwide because of the inexpensive materials used to do it. All you need is paper, glue, and something to roll the paper around. With quilling there’s no limit when it comes to the elaborate designs you can create!
Using the shapes greeting cards, wall hangings, jewellery, and such can be made.
Here, in this workshop we will be making some basic shapes and a wall hanging for children to hang on their walls.
All material needed for the workshop will be provided along with some refreshments at the venue.
