The Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality. Now over 6 million runners worldwide in 35+ countries have experienced the largest running series in the world, The Color Run. And now it comes to India.

Get ready to Dream in Colors. The Color Run takes the Color Runners to a world where anything is possible and inspires participants to make dreams a reality in this magical 5K course.

Color Runners will feel on top of the world in the classic powder Color Zones. Along the course, participants can paint their aspirations on the Dream Wall, snap whimsical photos with giant unicorns, and get the ultimate color inspiration as they party with friends at the Finish Festival amidst vibrant bursts of color throws.

Each Color Runner will receive a limited-edition Dream Tour race shirt, embroidered headband, a fun temporary tattoo, and a one-of-a-kind Unicorn Finisher's Medal. Whether you bring your squad of BFFs or your crew of kids and family, it's a 5K course that will have everyone feeling like they're on Cloud Nine.

  • They will be sending regular updates to the mobile number you have provided in the registration form, this should be not treated as spam and you shall not take any action against our bulk sms service provider. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizer shall be deemed as received by the runner.
  • You take full responsibility for participating in the The Color Run and do not hold the organizing committee or any of its members or entities responsible for any injury or accident.
  • You also assume all risk associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participant, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and other condition of the road, arson and terrorist threat and all other risks associated with a public event. You agree that the The Color Run shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.
  • You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety.
  • You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Race director or the medical staff or by the aid station volunteers.
  • You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicize the event
  • You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day of the event, any of the force majeure of the restriction by authority, the organizers reserve the right to Stop/Cancel/Postpone the event. You understand that confirm registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. Any amount collected from rejected applications alone will be refunded in full (excluding bank charges wherever applicable).
  • For any reason you cannot turn up on the race day, no refund of any form will be given.
  • If this registration is being made on behalf of a minor, I confirm that I am the parent/guardian of the child and that he / she has my permission to take part in the event. I further concur that all the above rules shall apply to him/her as if he were a major.
  • Participants must personally appear for collecting the running bibs. Bibs can be distributed in-absentee with written consent of the registered runner.
  • The participant understands and agrees that he may be contacted by the sponsors and promoters of the event for marketing and promotion of offers and grand explicit permission to send him/her communication on his/her mobile number and email address provided in the registration form.
  • Convenience Fee per ticket may be levied. Please check your total amount before payment.
  • Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue to pick up your physical tickets.

  • Q. Do I need to be some sweet ole runner to do this?
    A. Oh my goodness, NO. There are plenty of other great 5ks out there to test speed and performance. The Color Run event is all about a color crazy day with friends and family. You can run, walk, crawl, or cartwheel if you wish!
  • Q. What is included with the registration?
    A. For their Dream Tour events, each registered runner will receive the 2017 limited edition Dream Tour Participant Kit complete with a super soft new tee, unicorn finishers medal, Color Runner headband, color packet, and shiny HAPPY tattoo! All runners receive an Email about 10 days prior to the race that will give them the information on dates and locations for the Check-In Party!!
  • Q. Is The Color Run a charity or a non-profit organization?
    A. The Color Run is neither a charity nor a non-profit organization. The Color Run, LLC is a for-profit event company. For details on their charity partnerships
  • Q. What is the inspiration behind The Color Run?
    A. The Color Run is the first paint race of its kind and was inspired by several awesome events, including Disneys World of Color, Paint Parties, Mud Runs, and festivals throughout the world such as Holi. We wanted to create a less stressful and untimed running environment that is more about health and happiness! We hope that The Color Run can act as a catalyst to inspire continual healthy living.
  • Q. Can children participate?
    A. On one condition, if you are prepared to be one of the hippest moms/dads on the planet! If they can cover (running, jogging, walking, or strolling) the three miles of The Color Run course, they can absolutely participate in The Color Run! There is an option for all Little Color Runners 5 and younger on the registration form. They can register for a super low fee and get the full participant kit.
  • Q. Can I run with my dog/cat/turtle?
    A. For the safety of our runners and animal friends, they do not allow animals at any of their races.
  • Q. How do I get my participant kit? How does that work?
    A. Details on when and where the Check-In Party will be are posted to the city event page during the week of the race as well as emailed to all registered runners approximately 10 days before the event.
  • Q. Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
    A. You bet! As long as you send them with a printed or electronic copy of your confirmation email with the QR code on it!
  • Q. How is the color administered along the course?
    A. You will see smiling faces along the course whose main goal is to douse you in colorful powder to ensure that you look like you ran through a beautiful rainbow by the time you cross the finish line.
  • Q. Is The Color Run safe?
    A. The health and safety of the participants and their employees has always been at the forefront of their minds and actions. As a professional events company with highly vetted policies and processes, they conduct thorough testing to ensure the safety of the materials and their application. The Color Run has hosted more than 500 global events with more than four million participants and is committed to staging safe and secure events.
  • Q. How do the post-race color throw work?
    A. At the Finish Festival, the crowd will be involved in a color throw every 15 minutes to welcome new runners coming in. They will provide one bag of color for each runner as you cross the finish line.
  • Q. Will the color ruin clothes or running shoes?
    A. The color does mostly wash out after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. They suggest wearing items that you wouldnt mind getting colorful.
  • Do you have a cleaning station at the finish after party?
    A. They have air blown color cleaning at the finish line. With a good dusting off, you arent 100% clean, but you are good for the drive home. It is actually pretty fun to see people still colorful around town after The Color Run event. It is like a badge of honor!
  • Q. How does the color affect the inside of cars?
    A. Most people bring some towels for the insides of their cars, or a change of clothes just in case.
  • Q. Do the kilometer Color Zones affect runner vision? Or breathing?
    A. The color powder used at The Color Run event is all certified non-toxic and free of any heavy metals. The bright colors are a combination of cornstarch, baking soda, and FD&C dyes. As with any substance, you want to keep it out of your eyes and our certified color throwers make sure to aim low as you pass by. Some Color Runners opt to wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths.
  • Q. Are cameras and phones safe to have in the color zones?
    A. Their race photographers are generally fine shooting from a medium distance of 50 feet, but to be totally safe they always recommend covering cameras/phones with a protective dust wrap. Those colorful powder particles are sneaky and The Color Run is not liable for any damage that might be done to your camera!
  • Q. Is The Color Run timed?
    A. The Color Run 5k is not a timed event. Runners tend to take their sweet time out there and they realized no one really cares about their speed. They suggest self-timing for anyone desiring a finish time.
  • Q. Are there refunds?
    A. If an event is held as advertised, they cannot issue refunds. The logistics of setting up and planning the event make it impossible. Just make sure you are good to go before signing up. If for some reason you cant make it to race day, at least come to the Check-In Party, pick up your gear, and say hi to them!
  • Can I transfer my registration to another person?
    A. Registrations are non-transferable. If you end up not being able to attend the event, you can transfer your registration to another city (details in next question) in the same calendar year or for a small shipping fee they can mail you your participant kit if you are unable to pick it up at the Check-In Party.
  • Q. Can I transfer my registration from one city to another city?
    A. They do allow transfers from city to city. As long as the transfer is within the same calendar year, the transfer is completed prior to the original event taking place and prior to the participant checking-in for the original event. Have further
  • Q. What if I am pregnant?
    A. Its totally up to what you and your doctor decide. They see a lot of pregnant runners at t reiraces and they are the cutest ones out there! The powder is all certified non-toxic. We recommend wearing sunglasses or goggles, and a bandana over your mouth and nose in the color zones just for extra protection.
  • Q. What happens if there is bad weather?
    A. A little rain wont stop The Happiest 5k! It even makes the color brighter! If there are major weather warnings in your city during the weekend of the event, check the city event webpage , and stay tuned for emails with updates.
