Practice and 17 th World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) Continuing Education (CE) Program is scheduled to be held on 23 rd to 25 th November 2018 at Ramoji Film City, the largest integrated film city in Telangana that has been certified by the Guinness World Records as the largest studio complex in the world.


About Hyderabad:
Hyderabad, the Capital of Telangana, is a bustling 400 years old metropolis. It also goes by its sobriquet “City of Pearls” and ‘Cyberabad’ because Hyderabad has developed into one of the majorhubs for the information technology industry in India. The cosmopolitan city is richly endowed with a variety of cultures, presenting an attractive amalgam of world charm together with the ebullience of growth and enterprise. Hyderabad and Secunderabad are twin Cities, separated by the Hussain Sagar, a man-made Lake, made during the time of Ibrahim Qutub Shah in 1562. Diagnostic Imaging In Companion Animal Practice
Dr. Clifford R Berry DVM, DACVR:

Clifford (Kip) Berry is a courtesy professor of radiology in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Science at the University of Florida and currently works as staff radiologist in a private specialty practice in Raleigh, NC. He received his DVM from the University of Florida in 1984 and completed a residency in diagnostic Imaging from the University of California, Davis in 1990. He is a Diplomate of the American college of Veterinary Radiology. Dr. Berry’s research interests include clinical studies in diagnostic imaging particularly related to the thorax, use of animal models for human disease with emphasis on early diagnosis and noninvasive technologies for the diagnosis of disease processes, and the evaluation of novel approaches for the advancement of diagnostic imaging in the clinical and research setting with veterinary and human applications. Dr. Berry is passionate about teaching veterinary students, interns, residents and referring veterinarians in the areas of diagnostic imaging
especially abdominal ultrasound.

Pain Management in Companion Animal Practice

Dr. MIKE PETTY, DVM:

Dr. Michael Petty, DVM, is the author of Dr. Petty's Pain Relief for Dogs: The Complete Medical and Integrative Guide to Treating Pain (Countryman Press, February 2016). He is a veterinarian and certified veterinary pain management expert and acupuncturist. As the owner of the Arbor Pointe Veterinary Hospital and the Animal Pain Center in Canton, Michigan, he has devoted his professional life to the care and well-being of animals.


Dr. Petty is the past president of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management and the co- author of the AAHA/AAFP 2015 Pain Guidelines. A frequent speaker and consultant, he has published articles in veterinary journals and serves in an advisory capacity to several pharmaceutical companies on topics of pain management. Dr. Petty is a frequent lecturer at both national and international veterinary conferences.
Within this sphere of care, he has expanded his knowledge to encompass the most up-to-date and compassionate treatments available. These special skills consist of certification in pain management from several esteemed organizations, including: Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner, Certified Medical Veterinary Acupuncture, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, and Diplomate, American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Petty lives in rural Michigan on a horse farm with his wife and two daughters, and two Portuguese Water Dogs.
