In this workshop, we examine techniques to geo-reference, analyse and classify some maps of the Munn collection. Bringing such historical maps in a GIS ready environment can initiate several projects that cross disciplinary boundaries. For example, the discovery of a plague treatment house in these maps has led to the initiation of attempting to understand the spread of the disease in the city at that time.
