2 days, 2 states and ~120 kms of riding through beautiful forests, farm lands and quaint villages. Join us on the Germalam Escapade and leave with unforgettable experiences, new friends and a deeper appreciation for adventure and the outdoors.
Day 1:
We will leave Bangalore early on Saturday. A three hour drive will take us to the starting point near Kollegal from where we start riding after breakfast. The ride is through scenic countryside roads, along farm lands with a backdrop of hills adjoining the Biligiri Rangaswamy Wildlife Sanctuary. Our lunch stop near the Dhondenling Monastery at Oderyarpalaya will give us the opportunity to explore the Monastery before we continue cycling to our final destination for the day. The overnight stay will be in a farm in a quaint village situated at 4,000 feet above sea level, surrounded by the tropical forests of the enchanting Western Ghats. There is a high possibility of spotting wildlife in surrounding areas, outside the resort fence.
The accommodation will be in luxury cottage tents. There are common toilets with bucket showers. The camp is situated in the periphery of Sathyamangalam forest range and is a very scenic and quiet place, perfect for relaxation after a long day of cycling.
Day 2:
We will start cycling from the farm towards Chamrajnagar after breakfast. The route passes through small villages and forest sections for the first 30km. We will continue cycling till lunch and transfer back to Bangalore.
