Rules for the tournament
ü The tournament is open to all Corporates across India.
ü Individuals from different corporates can combine and form a team.
ü More than 1 team can register from the same company.
ü Valid ID card of the company or Joining letter or HR letter must be produced on the day of the event, on demand.
ü The last date of registration is 27 Nov.-2016. Organizing team reserve the right to close the registration before the last date depending on the no of registrations. Registration fee may be increased on 15 Nov or once 50% of the teams have registered.
ü Professional coaches and students are not allowed.
ü On-Spot registration fee will be 1000 rs more than the previous rate.
ü Re-enrty is allowed. Meaning, if a team loses in the match, and if there is a spot entry available then the same team (with same or different players) can re-enter the tournament paying the full registration amount.
ü On field, Judges / Organizers / Referees / Umpires decision would be final.
ü The Venue is JUSTPLaY Sports Club, Electronic city phase 1, off Neeladri road.

ü Rules at high-level:
o The pitch is proper 22-yards pitch.
o Full hand bowling ONLY. No throw bowling allowed. A bowler can bowl max of 2 overs.
o Last man batting is NOT allowed.
o The batsman can hit 4s and 6s only straight-Down the wicket. When the ball goes out of the ground and it goes straight then it is a 6 !!
o Standard LBW rules apply and once decision made by the Umpire is final.
o On half-side, leg-side and behind wickets the batsman has to hit and run to score. No boundaries. When the ball goes out of the ground and it goes leg-side, half-side and behind wickets then it is no-run and ball is counted.
o Wides – Extra run and extra ball
o Full-toss above waist is no-ball and it means Extra run and Batsman gets a FREE-HIT !!
o Front-leg No-Ball means Extra run and Batsman gets a FREE-HIT !!
o Above shoulder is a No-Ball and it means Extra run and Batsman gets a FREE-HIT !!
o No arguments entertained. Umpire’s/Referee’s decision is final !!
o Every team can have back-up players up to 3. They can only play in case of main players are not available or injured. Once a back-up player plays, then the player rested can not come back into the team.
- The ball used for the tournament will be Soft Tennis ball
- 32 teams - 6 a side – 6 overs match
- Knockout format
- 1 new tennis ball will be used for 1 match
ü All safety gears and playing equipment’s have to be brought by the participants (i.e. bats, guards etc.)
ü Players are participating at their own risk. Any injuries or accidents occurring during the event are not responsibility of the organisers.
ü Players are requested to be in proper sports attire
ü Strictly ONLY rubber studs/flat sole shoes are allowed at the venue (NO metal studs allowed).
ü First aid will be provided in case of any injury
ü In case of any doubts that will be clarified by the referee before the start of the match
ü All participants/teams are requested to maintain discipline and to avoid any kind of arguments with any other participants/teams
ü Teams need to be present at least 30 minutes prior to the designated start time. Else the opponent team will be given walk-over.
ü Registrations once done cannot be cancelled / transferred under any circumstances
ü Organizers reserves the right to reject any registration if found biased.
ü All participants will get the schedule 2 days prior to the tournament date. Else please write to email@example.com
Schedules and Fixtures:
ü Will be published and sent by email to all participants by 01-DEC-2016 @6 PM.
ü 04-DEC-2016 will be used for the tournament, if required.
ü The Tournament Referee may at his discretion, postpone a match on account of bad weather/court condition etc. In Case of postponement, the score and previous occupancy of court shall hold good.
ü Cash/prizes worth Rs.30,000/-
ü Trophies to the winner and runner up.
ü Medals to all the players.

ü The Cash/Prizes may vary if 32 teams are not participating. (If we receive 32 teams then Winners: 20000 INR and Runners: 10000 INR, If we receive 16+ teams then Winners: 10000 INR and Runners: 5000 INR)
