Day 2 — Kigali/Volcanoes National Park
Visit the unforgettable Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about a tragic period in Rwanda’s past. Join a park warden for a talk about these endangered creatures, which have seen an encouraging growth in their numbers over the past decade. The next day, go out with a guide in search of another species that inhabits these hills: the golden monkey. Take a stroll through a nearby village this afternoon. (2B, 2L, 2D)
