This course is a study of the fundamentals of baking including, cakes,cupcakes,cookies,biscuits, tarts ,and basic items made in a bakery.
Topics include baking terminology, functions of ingredients,making variations and the use of proper flours.
Students gain hands-on experience creating a variety of baked goods and desserts. This class also cover the basics of the scientific and chemical processes involved when combining ingredients and preparing desserts or other baked goods.
This class also cover the basic skills of Cake & Cupcake Decorating.
The class ends with post class summary and take-home containers.
Learn to know more about the Egg substitution also which you can apply for any recipe.
