This introductory module of our Cake Artistry course will thoroughly cover the foundation and basics of professional-level cake making. You will be taught the specifics and nuances of the processes of baking, layering and icing. In addition, you'll be introduced to the basics of cake decorating skills, as well as mixing methods of cake batters. You will also learn the components of a cake, the correct technical skills for layering cakes. This module will also cover various types of cakes, different kinds of cake fillings, as well as aerated fillings in cakes. Participants will learn how to make a wide range of items including Victoria Sponge (both Egg and Eggless versions), Carrot Cake, Mini Lemon Cakes, Cupcakes, Scrumptious Chocolate Cake, and Eggless Chocolate Cake.
