The Kids Dream Run 2020 is a fun event meant to promote running among children. While there are several events and initiatives that cater to adults, we felt the absence of such initiatives for children. It is essential for children to start their fitness journey young, and with these motivations, the Chennai Kids Dream Run was born. This is a non-competitive event centered around creating a fun running experience for kids.

A Unique Experience for Kids

Organized in association with the ACS with a minimum entry age of just two years, this event is the culmination of all the energy of Chennai in one morning. Depending on the age, children are accompanied by one parent in the run, and most of the time, they finish far ahead of the said parent!

We are mindful of the fact that young children should not run long distances, so the run categories include a 100mtr, 200mtr, 400mtr and 800mtr run. At the end of the run, all kids get a finisher medal and a specialized healthy refreshment box.

Date – Sunday 26^th January 2020

Time – 8:00 am

Venue – SDAT, Nehru Park, Chennai.

Distance: 100mtr, 200mtr, 400mtr & 800mtr.

Prize: Top 3 winners will get Beautiful Mementoes

Distance & Age criteria

• Age 4 to 6 Years: 100 MTRS
• Age 6 to 8 Years: 100 MTRS
• Age 8 to 10 Years: 200 MTRS
• Age 8 to 10 Years: 400 MTRS
• Age 8 to 12 Years: 800 MTRS

We believe that running is a joyful affair, however, to make it fun & joyful for everyone, we request all participants to follow certain conduct. We have put together a set of recommendations for running in general and running in events.
