Sinhagad, Sinhgarh, or Sinhgad (The Lion's Fort), is a fortress located roughly 30 kilometres southwest of the city of Pune, India. Previously called Kondhana (Marathi: कोंढाणा), the fort has been the site of many important battles, most notably the Battle of Sinhagad in 1671.
This fort has been one of the most popular destination for trekkers. This time we take it a step further by starting the trek from Katraj. A beautiful stretch of land and trek across 13 hills around full moon day.
The trek intensity is medium and it takes about 6-7 hours to complete. We should reach the starting point at around 9 pm and will then reach singahad in the morning.
We do few stretches atop hill with pranayama & meditation. What a great way to get your weekend started with adventure and yoga
