About The Event

Journalism has lost its backbone in past several years. It has become more a reality show to entertain mass population. Lack of quality and authentic analysis along with selective decentralization are the reasons behind such disaster. It has become a tool for politicians and corporates to swing the wind in their favor, where it is supposed to be the tool of awareness for common people. We hunt for quality information and analysis and debate today, but hardly gets it. Journalism is not only about politics, but its more about the system including education, healthcare, law and order, business, tours and travels and much more to count. It’s more about helping the world exploring its real potential. But today we have narrowed the field of journalism to such extent, that it will be considered as an endangered profession in near future.

We need to restructure the journalism from scratch not only to protect the fourth pillar of our democracy but giving the future generation a platform for critical and analytical thinking as an alternative to just criticizing anything. Journalism is meant to keep the facts Infront of common people and not to give any verdict like criticizing. You cannot criticize or praise someone being a journalist as every coin has an opposite side, what you need to do is keeping the both sides of any report you made Infront the common people to give a verdict.
