About The Event

India Mobile Congress 2017 (IMC 2017), the first ever global mobile, Internet and technology event in India will kick-off from 27th September 2017 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The event is jointly organised by Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) and K AND D Communications Ltd. IMC 2017will be a congregation to display, discuss, unveil, imbibe, educate and recognise the importance of the global and Indian telecommunications, mobile, internet, connectivity and digital services sector to the world. This first of its kind event is supported by the Ministry of Communication (Department of Telecommunications), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, among others.

 

This is the largest such event to be held in South Asia and will see the participation of hundreds of exhibitors and sponsors. A number of high profile companies will be displaying their latest products and technologies; some of them are: Google, Facebook, Nokia, Accenture, Qualcomm, Idea, Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance Jio, ZTE and Oppo. Apart from the exhibition, there will also be a conference with more than 20 sessions over three days where industry leaders and policy-makers will speak. Some of the prominent attendees that will be speaking on the event are:

 

Kumar Mangalam Birla, Mukesh Ambani, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Minister of Communication Shri Manoj Sinha, Minister of Law & Justice and Electronics and Information Technology Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad and Minister of Defence Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. 

 

This is the biggest platform for all such companies to showcase their products and collaborate and engage with audiences. A must attend event for anyone and everyone interested in latest gadgets and ultra-modern tech. Products and technology addressing virtual reality, smart cities, AI, robotics and Internet of Things (IoT) will be on display for the audiences.
