Agile is all about change. It sets the conditions for powerful, self-organizing transformation for individuals, teams, products, and organizations. Other Agile certifications teach you the practice of change in complex situations, but they are missing two key elements. How do people think about change and how do they feel about change? These two factors define the dynamics of the human systems that support Agile implementations. Your Agile teams get stuck when members do not understand change in the same way or when they feel frustrated or defensive. Your most successful Agile transformations must address hearts and minds, as well as protocols and practices.
Human Systems Dynamics (HSD) introduces theory and practice to fill these gaps. We understand the nature of complex change at all levels of human systems. Individuals build their adaptive capacity to see and respond constructively to challenging situations. Complex systems, like Agile teams and successful organizations, play by different rules. Prerequisites
This program is an on-ramp to the world of Human Systems Dynamics and adaptive capacity. All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience.
