Explore You at Matheran
In the serenity of this cool hill station, "Explore You" camp at Matheran is all about spending time with nature and finding out more about self by means of engaging in different experiences based on nature, hiking, working together with peers and also individually.
Camp Purpose: This program aims at giving a safe space for kids to enable them to enjoy nature at its raw best interspersed with powerful experiences that enable insightful breakthroughs!
Designed as a beginners level program, this camp is more focused on making friends with wilderness, getting comfortable with trees, insects, unknown people, managing own self and having fun while going through process and getting ready for bigger outdoor experiences.

Itinerary
Day 1
The day typically begins with assembling at National Park (First Pick up Spot), Breakfast to happen en-route, Travel to Neral by AC Bus. Transfer in NON AC taxi from Neral to Dasturi Point. 45 min walk from Dasturi to the Hotel. Luggage will be carried by porters. Reach Hotel Ashok and Relax with Welcome juice followed by Room allocation. This will be followed by Orientation, Lunch and Rest. Second half of the day will be spent in guidelines and full value contract amongst the participants. Ensuring the participants feel safe, welcome and at home in this new place. Activities like swimming, cooperative games, barefoot walk, tree therapy are likely to happen on the first day. Lot of time is spent on the kids getting to know each other and getting comfortable with the wilderness around.
The Day ends with dinner followed by Magic or a Puppet Show and early lights out.
Day 2
The day begins by 6:30 am, followed by breakfast and morning rituals. This day will be spent in getting to know the nature around better with the help of our nature experts, a treasure hunt on the theme of Nature at Matheran, Fun Games, Trail, Story Telling. Lunch will be followed by rest and horse riding. Evening time will be spent in hiking to the sunset point / market depending on what the kids decide. Solo time will be an important piece of this day, with dedicated slot allotted for reflective journaling.
Free Play and Chat with Parents will happen in the evening. Campfire, song, dance and sharing after dinner.
Day 3
Early morning wake up followed by morning rituals, and breakfast. Followed by activities like Wilderness Craft, Wilderness Cooking, bag packing, kids leading a round of games, closing ceremony and experience sharing circle. The group will begin their return journey post lunch. Expected time of arrival in Mumbai by 6 – 7pm.
