MARTIAL ARTS FIESTA 2021

Rules & Regulations:

The age group for Taekwondo & Karate Competition is as follows.

• GROUP “A” - 8-10 Years Boys and Girls
• GROUP “B” - 10-12 Years Boys and Girls
• GROUP “C” - 12-14 Years Boys and Girls

Date of Birth (Cut Out Date):-

Age of Participant should be as on or in between the dates mentioned below, for their respective age groups
Age Groups Age as on or in between:

GROUP “A” 8-10 Years 19.04.2013 - 20.4.2011
GROUP “B” 10-12 Years 19.04.2011 - 20.4.2009
GROUP “C” 12-14 Years 19.04.2009 - 20.4.2007

Dress of Competitors:-

1. The competitor will wear Taekwondo Dress or Karate Dress or T- Shirt & Track Pant while Performingas per the event
2. To participate in this event student should be of optimum level for fitness.
3. It is the Student’s / Parent / Guardian’s responsibility for the physical fitness of the participant to participate in Martial Arts Fiesta

NOTE: The last date of Registration for the event will be on 22nd April 2021

Dates of Competition: 24th April to 28th April 2021

All the players will perform one after the other continuously.

Requirement for Online Martial Arts Fiesta:

1. The competition will be conducted online on ‘Zoom’ app

2. All participants must download 'Zoom' app with their registered name as mentioned in the registration form.

3. All participants need join the link given in what’s app group on times and must wait in lobby for the competition as we conduct the competition one by one.

4. Information regarding the ongoing Competition will be given in WhatsApp group which will be created on 23rd April 2021.

5. In case of any technical or network issue from the participant side, the Judge will decide whether another chance will be given or not.

6. Only 10 minutes grace time will be given to join the Link.

7. The decision of the Judge will be final.

Player's Requirements:

• Computer with webcam, microphone & speakers attached.
• Participants need to have sufficient performing area (preferably white or light colored background) with proper lighting.
• Participants must have stable internet connection during the performance (avoid mobile data).

1. Judgment Criteria

1. The efficiency of the player in the Martial Arts Fiesta will be judged on the following
basis:

• Way of performance to achieve the final position
• Correct position of standing performance & moving performance
• Degree of flexibility, balance and calmness maintained during the retention of final
  position.
• Way of performance while returning from final position.

2. Marking System for Karate

• All the referees will award marks to each competitor for each momentseparately.
• In Karate Competition each referee will award marks on the scale of 1 to 7 for Standing Performance and 1 to 10 for Moving Performance in each age Category.
• On the scale of 1 to 7 for standing performance the child will be awarded marks for all Movements
• On the scale of 1 to 10 for Moving performance & Kata the child will be awarded marks for all Movements
• All the Participants will be Judges on the Following Parameters
  • Power
  • Speed
  • Balance
  • Accuracy
  • Skill
• The aggregate marks given by 3 Referees decide the final position.

3. Marking System for Taekwondo

• All the referees will award marks to each competitor for each moment separately.
• In Taekwondo Competition each referee will award marks on the scale of 1 to 10 for Standing Performance and 1 to 15 for Moving Performance in each age Category.
• On the scale of 1 to 10 for standing performance the child will be awarded marks for all Movements
• On the scale of 1 to 15 for Moving performance the child will be awarded marks for all Movements
• All the Participants will be Judges on the Following Parameters
  • Power
  • Speed
  • Balance
  • Accuracy
  • Skill
• The aggregate marks given by 3 Referees decide the final position.

Awards

• Merit E-Certificate
• First to third position holders will be awarded with Merit Certificates and others will be given Participation Certificate.

(In Karate & Taekwondo Competition,first three positions will be declared in each age group on the basis of the merit of the score)
