Creative writing in Journalism summer workshop:
Journalism is a subject that relies heavily on writing. Be it the print media or the digital media, Journalists need to know to write in a creative and catchy manner to engage the readers. A lot of students have a fair idea when it comes to doing reports because that is quite a straightforward way of writing wherein the journalist is expected only to put forward the facts and there is no requirement for creative writing. However, with other forms of writing such as feature writing, opinion writing, editorial writing etc. there is a need for creative writing.
Visualite academy is now offering a creative writing workshop specially for Journalism aspirants. The workshop aims to train future journalists and current journalists in the area of creative writing required for the field of Journalism. This workshop is open to all without any restrictions based on age, educational qualification and prior work experience. The workshop will be conducted through both online and offline modes. Those who live outside Chennai can take advantage of the classes being held through online mode. Even those attending offline classes can take up the workshop online in case of a lockdown or some unexpected crisis.
