About The Event

Do you enjoy any 'me time'? How often do you prioritise yourself over your family and others?

We, women, are conditioned to be multi-taskers. Every day we move between our spouse, kids, families, domestic help, work, and all other areas. Most of us excel inspite of structures than because of them. We are knocking down walls and paving our own roads. On these journeys, our patience, tolerance, resilience - our whole being - is on trial.

Though confident, focused, bold and courageous, there are many things that we don't express and are unable to let go of. We are also subjected to judgements - positive and negative - and expected to behave in socially appropriate ways since childhood. Most women buy into these beliefs and make them their reality. These unseen signposts lead us to self judgement - consciously or unconsciously. Without even realising, we fall into patterns of self-criticism and self blame and a need for validation take a toll on our health.

We may assume the root of these health challenges is our hectic lifestyle. No. It's the many subtle or intense suppressions that we have been practicing, sometimes unconsciously, for most of our lives. Our body manifests our inner beliefs into different health concerns. Some common ones include weight gain, irregular periods, excessive hairfall, body ache, poor stamina, anxiety attacks, hypertension and thyroid problems, among others.

Let's reconnect with ourselves on this International Women's Day.

‘Conversations with the body’ is a wellness program specially designed for women. It helps women to become present to their deep-rooted inner beliefs, thought patterns, suppressed emotions and true desires. It focusses on resolving health challenges using simple, and effective techniques. Ease during menstruation, exercises on conscious relaxation, how to uncomplicate the art of eating and rediscovering the connection with the body through simple movements are some of the topics of the program. All the techniques shared by renowned health experts, are highly pragmatic, time effective and easy to apply in daily life. Women can practice any of these techniques on their own with total ease whenever they wish.
