CME on Adult NeuroOncology 14-16 July 2017 Gopalpur

The Neurological Society of India had started a new initiative last year - a Super Specialty CME.  The first NSI Super Specialty CME was on Pediatric Neurosurgery and was held in Coorg.  The course was very educative and was very well received.  We now propose to have the second Super Specialty CME on Adult Neuro-oncology in Gopalpur on sea – a wonderful beach destination in Odisha.  We would start late afternoon on the 14th of July and would end on the 16th of July.  There would be nine senior Indian neurosurgeons involved in adult neuro-oncology and one foreign faculty conducting the course.  The topics to be discussed include the new WHO brain tumor classification, perspectives in gliomas, controversies in meningiomas and management of solitary and multiple metastasis.   The objective would be to educate young members of the finer nuances in the field which they could immediately apply in their clinical practice.

This course is open to all full members of NSI under the age of 40 years as on 30th of June, 2017 (associate members not eligible).  If seats are available members under the age of 45 years as on 30th June, 2017 would be adjusted.  The to and fro travel would be looked after by the Society through a generous educational grant from Intas Pharmaceuticals.  Being strictly an educational activity – family members are not permitted.

Seats are limited and you are requested to apply early.  The Board of Education would decide the final list of attendees and then get their flight bookings done early.
