Lonar Lake | Mehekar |Sindkhedraja

Lonar Sarovar:-

Lonar Lake is a salt water lake in the state of Maharashtra. It was formed by a meteorite. Lonar is the only large impact craters in the basalt rock. Its water is alkaline.

Lonar Lake has been declared as a national Geo-heritage monument for the conservation of Lonar Lake. There are temples in this area which are about twelve hundred years old. Of these, 15 temples are in the same details.

Mehekar Balaji:- 

The village of Mehekar is famous for its Balaji. While excavating a fort, an idol of Balaji was found here in 1888. This linear sculpture carved in the single stone is very eye-catching.

Sindkhed Raja:- 

Rajmata Jijau was born on 12 January 1598 in the Bhuikot palace at Sindkhedraja in Buldhana district. She was the mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Hindavi Swarajya. Her birthplace Sindkhed is still a very important historical place. Nearby is also the Samadhi of King Lakhujirao Jadhav, father of rajmata Jijau, It is a magnificent mausoleum which is certainly a masterpiece of medieval architecture.

9:00 PM:- Start night journy towards Lonar.

17th September:-

8:00 AM reach Lonar

8:15 AM Hotel refreshment

9:00 AM Breakfast

10:00 AM Start study tour of Lonar

10:30 AM Reach at Lonar lake

11:15 AM Visite lake and know scientific, geographic and historical aspects of lake

1:30 PM Lunch 

After lunch we are going to visite various temples which are scattered all along the rim of the lake and know about their detail history and architecture

2:45 PM Visite Shankar Ganesh temple 

3:15 PM visite Ramgaya temple

3:40 PM visite Hanuman temple

4:00 PM visite Kamalja Devi temple 

4:30 to 5:00 PM rest time and do your photography

5:00 PM Visite to Gomukh temple 

6:00 PM Visite other places 

7:00 PM Move towards bus

7:30 PM Reach hotel

8:30 PM Dinner 

END OF 1st DAY

18th September

6:30 AM We leave for Mehekar

8:00 AM Breakfast at Mehekar

8:30 AM We start our study tour for Mehekar

10:00 AM We leave for Sindakhed 

11:30 AM Reach sindakhed and visite various places like Lakhujirao Jadhav's wada, Samadhi 

1:00 PM We leave for Pune

1:30 PM Lunch

5:00 PM Tea and refreshment break

8:00 PM Dinner

10:00 PM Reach Pune
