Safety is very important in all industries, but there are some types of businesses which must take extra care to make safety a priority. One of these is project and construction.
Safety in construction is not a matter to be taken lightly. The construction industry is prone to many hazards and accident potential. Construction materials, tools, machinery and handling techniques all come with their own dangers. The main types of accidents which cause death or serious injury on construction sites include falls, incidents with site vehicles, collapsing materials, contact with overhead power lines etc. Most of these accidents can be avoided by implementing stringent safety practices.
To help employees understand, aware and identify the hazards associated with any type of construction or refurbishment activities and mitigate them effectively. This Course is designed to present fundamental as well as expertise information in most of the project areas. Participants will be informed about the related Rules, Regulations and Acts. After attending the course, the participants will be able to execute good safety practices in their work sites.
Who should attend?
Middle and bottom level engineers, Site Supervisors, Line Managers working in Projects, Engineering Consultancy and Construction sites and/or from engineering industry. In fact, participants can be from any industry handling project or site specific jobs.
