A refereshing summer theatre workshop for young people!
Physical Theatre is one of the most sought-after training techniques in the world. Several well-known theatre companies like Complicite, Frantic Assembly, DV8 create fresh, innovative and exciting work using physical theatre.

This 4-day workshop will introduce the participants to the basics of physical theatre. Using a number of theatre games and exercises, they will explore the primary principles of acting, discover how to use their bodies creatively, engage with written texts, and learn how to work seamlessly within a group.
The workshop will take place over two weekends: 28th and 29th May; and 4th and 5th June. There will be two batches:
Batch 1 (9 years to 11 years): 2.30pm to 5pm
Batch 2 (12 years to 14 years): 5.30pm to 8pm
Vikrant Dhote has finished his first year at the London International School of Performing Arts. His performance work for children includes Keep Calm and Hashtag, produced by Theatre Professionals and Goethe-Institut, and mentored by Sophia Stepf (Flinntheater Berlin) He has conducted workshops for The Heritage School, Delhi and Shishuvan School, Mumbai. He currently performs in 07/07/07, directed by Faezeh Jalali, which won the Best Ensemble Award at the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards 2016.
