Ladakh - a name that brings visions of unearthly beauty in earthly tones of naked mountains. Its ruggedness and ruthlessness will mesmerize you, as much as it would challenge you under harsh conditions. A road trip to this beautiful region takes you through spectacular landscape, high altitude passes, snow clad mountains and picture-perfect lakes. It brings you face to face with an ancient culture that has been kept alive for centuries. From the excellently laid tarmac to tire cutting road to dirt tracks perfect for off-roading, there are no better roads in India for a road trip than the ones in Ladakh.
