About The Event

This edition of Yellow Talks will gather some of the active thinkers who have achieved through Unconventional Conventions. Yellow Talks is coming with talks where the people with flexible thinking will trigger the Unconventional approach for Conventional aspects. Yellow Talks brings an opportunity to listen to thinkers & achievers who can really change your thinking. We have gathered some great thinkers – from the field of Entrepreneurship to an Activist, a Film Maker to Animator, and Motivational Speaker to Professors, to share their Unconventional thinking worth spreading.

INDIRANI MALKANI: Indirani Malkani is associated in voluntary work with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, the Mumbai Police as well as the Election Commission of India in Mumbai. Her most successful projects was to conceptualize and implement the Model School Bus Service. This was accepted as a model on which the State of Maharashtra has based its Policy of Transportation of School Children. She is an Ashoka Fellow.

BRIG SUSHIL BHASIN: Brig Sushil Bhasin, served the Indian Army for over 34 years. Taking his rich training experience to another level, Brig Sushil Bhasin has now turned into an executive trainer, a corporate facilitator, a mentor and a motivational speaker. He is the co founder and Chairman and Managing Director of EMPOWER ACTIVITY CAMPS - a training company for students, teachers and corporate executives.

PROF VINAYAK DESHPANDE: Vinayak is a post graduate in Statistics from Mumbai University with first rank. Vinayak brings in over 10 years of rich experience in executing, managing and delivering assignments in business analytics. Vinayak possesses strong skill in exploratory analysis and simulation based methods providing invaluable support from design phase to final reporting.

NAGARJUNA G: Nagarjuna G. works in the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai, India. His major research interests include Science Education, Cognitive Science, History and Philosophy of Science and Structure and Dynamics of Knowledge. As an activist he focuses on promoting free knowledge and free software and serves as the Chairperson of Free Software Foundation of India.

VIVEK SHUKLA: Vivek Shukla, freelance screenwriter for Animation and Live action T.V. Shows and Feature Films and an Indie Filmmaker. One of the very few writers who are specialized and face of the art of Animation Screen Writing in India .For him, creativity is a new dimension of life, which he try to explore through his writing and film making. He love to experiment with creativity and try to stretch the capability to cross the LIMIT of imagination.

Dr. SHANKAR DAS: Dr. Shankar Das has experience in teaching, training, research and human resources development practice in hospitals and community based health care agencies. He has published in peer reviewed journals and books. He was involved in planning, monitoring, evaluating and policy making in health care delivery systems in India, Myanmar, Bangladesh and UK.He is presently a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics (LSE) and working on Mental Health, Long Term Care Policies in UK and India.

MIRIAM MENACHEERY: Founder, director of Filament Pictures. Has had the experience of writing and directing for several international channels including the National Geographic Channel and BBC World. Her film `Robot Jockey’ won the Asian Television Award. Her socially relevant brand of programming has won critical acclaim.The Rat Race is her first independent full length documentary. Winner of the Mipdoc Co production Challenge 2010, Cannes, supported by the Jan Vrijman Fund 2011 and official selection at IDFA 2011.

AKHIL ARYAN : Akhil is an entrepreneur dedicated towards positive disruption. Akhil started up at the age of 14 and till date he has founded three businesses in San Francisco, Mumbai and London. The Megalomaniac Movement was another one of his creations in the valley. The MMM was the topic of discussion for his international talks at IE University, PANGEA 2015 & Assolombardo Milano. He is considered to be in the circle of advisors to the Italian Government. Akhil had the opportunity to witness the nuances of startup culture across 3 continents. Now he heads Product and Growth at Haptik Technologies.

Yellow Talks is an organization setup to bridge the gap between winners and aspirers. We believe in most basic yet important elements of learning i.e. being curious and transcending knowledge.

Terms & Conditions


  1. Age limit to buy a ticket: 10 years and above.

  2. Passes are issued according to the rules and regulation of the event organizer and the management of the venue where is presented.

  3. The right of the admission reserved with the organizer.

  4. Seating on first come, first basis only.

  5. The organizer reserves the right to frisk the passes holder at the entry points for security reasons. Your co-operation is required.

  6. Patrons will be made to wear wristband and will have to retain the wristband with them till the end of the show for security reasons.

  7. During the event, no replacement wristband will be issued in case it is lost. Removed or transferred wristband tickets will be considered invalid.

  8. Re-entry is allowed, subject to wrist band.

  9. The organizer does not take the responsibility for the loss or theft of any personal belongings or any injury that the ticket holder may accrue at the event.

  10. All cell phones must be silent/airplane mode inside the venue once the event commences.

  11. Objects like matchbox, lighter, cans or tins , sharp object, Arms and ammunition, food, beverage, water bottles, etc. are strictly not allowed into the venue.

  12. No duplicate ticket will be issued of lost or stolen tickets.

  13. Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited.

  14. Entry shall be permitted to guest only above the age of 10 years.

  15. Organizers reserve the right to perform security check on invitees/members of audience at the entry point for the security reasons.

  16. Any inappropriate behavior by any of the patron shall lead to eviction of the holders from the venue after they have entered the ground.

  17. The organizers reserve the rights without refund or other resource, to refuse admission to patron found in breach of these terms and conditions including, if necessary, eviction of the holder/s of the ticket from the venue.

  18. Internet handling fee and service tax per ticket may be levied. Please check your total amount before payment.

  19. Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.

  20. We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue to grab the best seat.
