About The Event

Nag Tibba also called as Serpent’s Peak, is the highest peak in the lesser Himalayas in the Garhwal region. 
Situated at a height of 3022 meters above the sea level, the peak offers majestic views of some remarkable peaks such as Swargarohini, Banderpooch, Kala Nag and many more. 

The difficulty level of the trek is easy and is best suited for beginners. The trail passes through villages, dense forests and meadows. It is considered the best weekend trek near Delhi.

Itinerary:
Day 1: 25 January 2017 (Departure from Delhi)
We depart from Maharana Pratap Kashmere Gate ISBT, Delhi by 9 PM. 

Day 2: 26 January 2017 (Arrive Pantwari and Trek to Nag Mandir Campsite)
We will take a break and have our breakfast amidst the journey. We arrive at Pantwari by 8 AM in the morning. After a short break, we start our trek to Nag Mandir Campsite by 9 AM. The distance from Pantwari to Nag Mandir Campsite is 5.5 km. 

The initial trek passes through a goat village and then continues on spur of the mountain. The rest of the trek goes through a dense forest of rhododendron and small bugyal or meadow. The complete trek is on an even surface except some stretches. It takes around 4-5 hours to reach the campsite. After arriving at the campsite, visit Nag Mandir. Have dinner with bonfire. Nightstay in the camps.

Day 3: 27 January 2017 (Trek to Nag Tibba Summit and get back to Pantwari)
The day starts with a short but steep trek to the summit of Nag Tibba. The summit is situated 3 km from Nag Mandir. It takes around 2-3 hours to reach the summit depending on the snow on the trail. 
At the top, enjoy the panoramic views of Himalayan peaks such as Trishul, Nanda Devi, Srikanth, Swargarohini, Black Peak, Banderpooch and other.
After all this, we trek back to Nag Mandir campsite. We have our lunch there and then descend back to Pantwari. The downhill trek takes around 3 hours to reach. Check in into hotel and bonfire at night. 

Day 4: 28 January 2017 (Departure from Pantwari in the morning)
After breakfast, we leave for Delhi by 10 AM and reach there 8 PM.

Cost: INR 5500 per person on Double sharing basis
