The workshop is meant to introduce the students into the world of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Technology. This workshop includes the basic aspects of designing, fabricating, assembling, flying and maintenance of these vehicles. It also covers topics on basics of Quadcopter algorithm and coding, electronics, sensors, navigation and communication systems, autopilot system etc..,

The workshop will conclude with demonstration of advanced UAVs developed by the company and the various real time applications of the technology. Aspects of higher studies, career opportunities and industrial requirements will be shared with the students.

The workshop is conducted by Avian Aerospace, A research and training company with tutors having years of research experience in the field.  The company has trained more than 8000 students in the past six years of operation and has 4 UAV research labs established in leading institutions in south India including Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai
