About The Event

    • Kumara Parvatha also known as Pushpagiri is the third tallest peak in the western ghats of Karnataka at a height of 1712m(5624ft) is very close to  Kukke Subramanya temple and is one of the most beautiful peaks in the whole of western ghats.
    • This mountain is on the border between Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu district. So the lights of Somwarpet town in Kodagu can be seen from the peak. It is very popular among the trekkers of South India and an ideal place for trekking and exploring.

Considered to be the toughest trek of its kind in South of Sahayadri hills

    • Witness whirling trails, numerous trekking routes and the hilly environs of the kukke subramanya and enjoy a fun and exciting two day tented camping experience here.
    • Embark and discover the fascinating cascades situated in Dakshina Kannada district
  • Enjoy camping at night and relax by the bonfire and enjoy delicious authentic food.
  • Explore the wilderness of western ghats and take a nature walk around the landscape of the beautiful southern hill station before you leave camp towards home.

Itinerary:

Day 1:

  • Pick up from Bangalore at 9pm, overnight travel to subramanya. proposed pickup point- Majestic.
  • Arrive at the kukke subramanyam temple which is starting point of the trekking by 5:00 AM and get refreshed. Enjoy the pleasant ambience prevailing in the location.
  • At 7:00 AM you will be indulging in a trekking to the Kumaraparvatha.
  • Lunch at 2:00PM. After reaching the peak point, return to your campsite and enjoy Hi tea or a coffee at 6pm.
  • Gather together near a bonfire and enjoy the ethnic vegetarian food of western coast at 9 pm
  • Afterwards, relax and retire for the night.

Day 2:

  • Enjoy your breakfast before you exit from Kumaraparvatha. It is the best time to get cuddled by nature purely. Inhale the fresh air mixed with the therapeutic aroma of nature.
  • Reach Bangalore at 7:00 PM
  • Later, check-out at around 11:00 AM.
