The Neurological Society of India has started a new initiative this year - a Super Speciality CME. The first NSI Super Speciality CME will be on Pediatric Neurosurgery and would be held in Coorg – a beautiful hill station near Bengaluru. The course would start late afternoon on the 1st of July and would end on the 3rd of July. Prof Rick Boop from US would be the foreign faculty and there would be nine senior Indian neurosurgeons involved in pediatric neurosurgery conducting the course. The topics of Spinal dysraphism, Supratentorial tumors in children and Infratentorial tumors in children would be covered extensively over these two days. The objective would be to educate young members of the finer nuances in the field which they could immediately apply in their clinical practise.
This course is open to all full members of NSI under the age of 40 years as on 30th of June, 2016 (associate members not eligible). The to and fro travel and two nights stay on a twin sharing basis would be looked after by the Society through a generous educational grant from Intas Pharmaceuticals. Being strictly an educational activity – family members are not permitted. Those desirous of taking advantage of this CME should apply to the Central Office, NSI. Please donot forget to fill in the Registration form, and pay registration money of Rs 10000/= online on the NSI website. This registration money is refundable to those candidates who attend the CME. Those who register and do not turn up would not get a refund. Seats are limited and you are requested to apply early. The Board of Education would decide the final list of attendees and then get their flight bookings done early.
We hope you find this new educational initiative of NSI fruitful and to your liking.
