Introduction to Headstart Network:
Headstart Network Foundation is a non profit organization, established in the year 2008 with the vision: ‘Changing the World through Entrepreneurship’ Today, Headstart Network Foundation is the largest network of early stage startups in India. About the topic:
For every startup, the nascent stage of formation and the vulnerable stage of expansion are critical moments in its evolution from an idea to a sustainable business model. The right platform, appropriate funding and timely mentorship are essential for a startup to negotiate these treacherous waters of uncertain existence.
The startup ecosystem provides two platforms to help startups overcome those critical moments – enter incubators and accelerators. While these two terms may be used synonymously, there are some key differences that set them apart.
Incubators are for startups in their initial stages. They offer low-cost infrastructure and may not have a strict timeline.
Accelerators on the other hand are intensive, time-bound programmes that offer a bit of seed funding and a lot of mentorship to help established startups scale up and expand.
The question then needs to be asked is – Which is the right one for your startup? This is what the eminent panel of speakers will be looking to thresh out in the next edition of Startup Saturday. Aspiring startups can gain much from the knowledge and experience of the speakers.
Come over to the event to know more from the experts.
