People who feel the need to do something when they see something going wrong in the society, who feel the drive to help the people, who are full of empathy and have the courage to stand at the front of the crowd and lead everyone to prosperity, happiness and most importantly success while also earning money and blessings of the people are the perfect kind people for this Meetup cum competition.
Social Entrepreneurship Challenge- 2017 will bring top student minds and startup mentors under one roof and build not just Social Startups but also mark the beginning of a domino effect that will lead to a successful business venture and also a better society to live in.
Its a 3 day event on 11th, 17th and 18th of February at Katraj Campus of Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering, Pune.
Day-1 : Workshop for understanding and building of the Business model Canvas and also learning how to take that Business model into the real world.
Day-2: Teams of 5 will be divided on the basis of similar passion of the students. each passionate about a social issue and believe they can change the problem into a promising business. Whole day, i.e. 7 Hours (11am-6pm) they will work on it and submit a Business model, a day report and a startup pitch.
Day-3: The teams will then pitch their startups in front of a panel of judges one of who is a NASSCOM Startup Warehouse Manager and another is a Prof. of Entrepreneurship at Symbiosis College of Management and also at IIM Ahmedabad.

The fees for the event is 600 per person*. It includes, lunch for Day-1, a small goodie kit and few premium coupons which will ensure that you get your paid amount back right then and there.
*Payment needs to be done only after shortlisting. Applying for SEC-17 is free.
This event is our initiative to raise awareness and enthusiasm about Social Entrepreneurship amongst the student community.
