About The Event

Sinhagad Hill Marathon: Run For Forest.

The forest cover in India and around Pune is depleting at an alarming rate. Failure to contain the wanton felling of trees for urbanization and industrialization would lead to disastrous consequences. Our future could be in jeopardy.
Unless, some drastic steps are taken. Some light is shown. Some way, some path for the betterment of our generation and those coming in the future is chalked out. With this Hill Run, we aim to generate awareness about the importance of the forest cover around Pune, the hills and the valleys who store such a huge amount of natural wealth. Let us celebrate the fact that there's so much around us, so much to save and conserve!
Let us Run for the future. Let us run for the forest! Let us run for Mother Earth!
Please spread the word among your friends, relatives and companies. Let us act, and act by running and showing the way!
