Seminar on Economy & Business Opportunities in Poland

India and Poland set an ambitious trade target of USD 5 billion by the year 2018 from the 2014 level of USD 2.3 billion and drew a blueprint for stepping up investments and identified a series of actions to raise trade. India’s major exports have been cotton, textiles, chemical products, electromechanical appliances, vehicles, air ships and vessels. Major imports from Poland have been electromechanical appliances, mineral products, and chemical products. The Polish side showed interest in exporting the latest food processing machinery, coal & steel and technology to India. In the IT and ICT sector, India and Poland have identified areas to strengthen cooperation in entrepreneurship development and support; research and development and innovation in cloud computing; big data analysis; cyber-security, data protection, smart cities projects, and accreditation of each other’s courses.
To take advantage of the enormous potential that exists, FTAPCCI is organizing a Seminar on Economy & Business Opportunities in Poland on 10th August, 2015 at 4.30 p.m. at Federation House, Red Hills,Hyderabad. His Excellency Mr. Tomasz Tukaszuk, Ambassador of Republic of Poland has consented to participate and address the Seminar. Senior Officials, Mr. Adam Dyszlewski, First Counsellor, Deputy Head of the Mission and Head of Political Section, Mrs. Maria Åukaszuk, First Counsellor, Head of Economic Section, Mr. Zbigniew Magdziarz, Counsellor, Head of Trade and Investment Promotion Section, Mrs. Agnieszka Dyszlewska, Counsellor, Political of Embassy of the Republic of Poland will also be present at the Seminar.
The Seminar is aimed at creating awareness about business opportunities and promoting trade and investment partnerships between India and Poland.
