Covering an area of almost 90 acres in the heart of Delhi is the Lodi Garden, which is now under the protection of the Archaeological Survey of India. Of the most noted monuments that are found here, the prime attraction of this place is Sikander Lodi's Tomb, following which the garden is so named. Apart from this tomb, you will also come across the architectural wonders produced during the reign of the Lodis. The Bada Gumbad and Shisha Gumbad are also two of the major attractions of the Lodi Garden. Both the Bada Gumbad and the Shisha Gumbad are tombs. As to whom these tombs belong to are sometimes called into question, but the fact that they all belong to the Lodi family or members of their court is a fact that remains undisputable. The tomb that is dedicated to Mohammed Shah is believed to be one of the earliest monuments that are found in this garden area.
