One of the great questions which confronts governments, school managements and educationists around the world, is how can schools transform themselves to unlock the potential of every student and teacher? How can government efforts to improve learning outcomes be combined with their obligation to put citizenship on the curriculum, promote healthy schools and place positive behaviour high on their agendas?
Ms. Jenny Mosley - teacher educator, drama therapist, creator of the Whole School Quality Circle Time Model and an education consultant from the UK will be in Bangalore on 14 & 15 July 2014 to answer above stated questions and to conduct a two-day training workshop on "Creating Culture of Success through Circle Time" for 150 teachers from Jain Heritage School & Jain International Residential School.
Jain Heritage School is initiating this workshop to introduce its teaching faculty members to the whole new world of ‘Quality Circle Time’ and there by maintain fantastic educational system in the school.
The workshop will focus on how Quality Circle Time can be used to support teachers and other professionals in managing a range of issues that affect the whole learning community. It will also provide participants the opportunity to explore in more depth this approach as a tool to develop the social and emotional competencies in children and young persons, namely raising self-esteem, promoting positive behaviour, building caring relationships, enhancing motivation and creating cooperative learning environments. It is a practical, hands-on workshop on how to organise and facilitate a Quality Circle Time in the classroom, including a role demonstration with a group of children from Jain Heritage School and Jain International Residential School.
