Announces “ Programming and hands on Workshop on Design Pattern ”

 2015 April 19 (Sunday) Duration of the workshop: 3 hours, 9.30 am to 12. 30 pm

Brief about the Workshop:

In this workshop, the speakers are going to introduce Design patterns and their importance in programming. Also get hands-on experience where the audience learns how to solve real life programming problems using design patterns.

COURSE OVERVIEW

 

9.30 to 10.00  Introduction of Design Pattern

10.00 am to 11.15 am Design Pattern hands- on coding Session-1

11.15 am - 11.30 am BREAK

11.35 am - 1.00 pm Design Pattern hands - on coding Session-2

1.00 pm - 2.00 pm Lunch Break

2.00 pm - 3.15 pm Design Pattern hands -on coding Session-3

3.15 pm -3.30 pm Break

3.30 pm - 4.30 pm Design Pattern hands -on coding Session-4

4.30 pm - Workshop ends.

Pre-requisite for the Audience

Ability to understand Object Oriented Concepts. Preferably should know Java. Should have a working environment (laptop) on which he/she can try out the concepts explained.

About the Tutors:

Dattatreya S Vellal has completed his Bachelor of Engineering from R V College of Engineering, Bangalore, Karnataka, in 2007 and Master of Science in Yoga from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamilnadu, in 2011. He has worked on various products and technologies and is currently a senior technical lead at Exeter Software India Private Limited working on designing and developing server-client architecture based solutions. He has to his credit a few US patent office filed patents, disclosures, national level paper submissions, seminar open talks and internet articles. He is a life-time member of Computer Society of India and has conducted many technical and non-technical seminars and workshops in different colleges within karnataka and outside. A few popular topics include Web 2.0, Advanced Java & J2EE, Adopting Eclipse as an IDE, Android application development, C# workshops, Design Pattern workshops, technical writing, building communication and presentation skills etc. Datta is also certified by Toastmasters International as a Competent Communicator and Competent leader. He is also a certified Leadership Adviser from Toastmasters International. In his free time, he loves to explore Indian Epics and enjoys telling stories.

Raghavendra Neelekani is a Staff Software Engineer in IBM India Software Labs. He has been working with IBM since 2009 and has extensive knowledge in Java and Web 2.0 related technologies. He is very passionate about developing projects and providing technical sessions to the right audience. He has been involved in various workshops, lectures across many engineering colleges. 

Arun Lobo is Software Engineer at IBM India Software Labs, Bangalore since six years. Over the past four years, he has delivered workshops across the country on design patterns, advanced java, j2ee, .net,  and Web 2.0 technologies. He has given seminars on mobile application development on the Android platform and is also a Windows Phone application developer. While not at work or in workshops he is usually busy involved in gaining knowledge on technology and history
