Overview

Today's organizations exist in a climate of constant and increasing change. P3O ® framework enables consistent delivery of change across various structures of organizations. The P3O® guidance brings together in one place a set of principles, processes and techniques to facilitate their effective programme management through enablement, challenge and support structures. P3O® has been successfully used and adopted by many organizations, both within public and private sectors. P3O® Foundation and Practitioner - is an APMG accredited 5 -day course, which covers the syllabi for the Foundation and Practitioner examination levels, The course also includes administration of these two examinations. Participants will gain an understanding and knowledge of the principles, processes and techniques of P3O® framework to facilitate effective Portfolio, Programme and Project Management. This framework also bridges the gap between strategy/ policy making and the delivery roles in the organizations.

P3O® Certification Examinations The P3O® Foundation examination will be an one hour closed book examination consisting of 75 questions. Five out of these 75 questions are trial questions and the candidates need to score 35 or more of the remaining 70 test questions to pass the foundation examination, which is a pre-requisite to take the practitioner examination. Practitioner examination is of two and half hour duration objective examination, based on a scenario case study. Reference to original P3O® manual only is permissible during this examination. The paper will contain objective questions worth 80 marks and the candidates need to score 40 or more marks to pass the practitioner examination.
