About The Event

Project Management National Conference, India 2016 is a three day professional development event, organized and hosted by PMI Mumbai Chapter and Co Hosted by PMI Pune-Deccan Chapter from 17th to 19th November 2016.

 

The conference theme Project Management- Indispensable for Vision India… builds on enhancing project management skills to realize India's vision to become a developed nation with world class institutions, infrastructure, products and services. There is a real need to execute and follow through on plans in order to fulfil the true growth potential of India. The conference will present industry views, case studies, invited speeches and technical papers that focus on how Project Management practitioners:

 

- Play a key role in redefining the way India builds its capabilities

- Help create the climate for growth

- Enable the country to move towards an economy focused on innovation & product development

 

The conference provides a platform for Project Management Practitioners across industries, government, NGOs and academia, to exchange ideas on the challenges and opportunities in managing projects that will help translate a vision of India into reality. It is an opportunity to network, share and learn from like minded professionals.

Participation Terms and Conditions

1. Communication Address:

2. Early Bird Offer:

a. Early bird registrations will start from 29th August uptill 30th September 2016 OR till the first 200 registrations (which ever is first)

d. Early Bird delegates will get benefit of attending the Special session complimentary. Special session will be held on 17th November 2016 which will be worth 2.5 additional PDUs

e. Early bird registrants have the option of choosing from 2 sessions. The Master class by Kevin Kelly has a max seating capactiy of 150 persons and the Workshop by Tathagat Varma has a max seating capacity of 50 persons. These seats will be filled on a first come first serve basis and once a session is full registrations for that session will be stopped.

f. Early bird registrants also have the option to choose to be part of the mentoring clinic sessions which is an exclusive opportunity to meet with an industry expert and get guidance. A fifteen min slot will be scheduled during the conference and the timings for the same will be communicated to the registrant a 3 days before the conference.

g. Cancellations and transfers of registrations are strictly not permitted under the "Early Bird Offer"

h. Early bird registrants get the benfit of choosing a session + mentoring clinic + a networking lunch on Nov 17th afternoon. NO monetary discount is applicable for early bird.

 


3. Offline Registrations (Groups of 5+ delegates sponsored by an organization)

a. Any organization wishing to sponsor delegates to attend the conference may avail of offline registrations.

b. For offline registrations please register at: http://www.pmi.org.in/apps/offline and enter your nominations. One submitting your nominations an invoice will be auto generated.

c. All Demand drafts/cheques must be in favor of "PMI Organization Centre Pvt. Ltd." payable at Mumbai.

d. Registration confirmations are subject to receipt of payments.

 

4. Group Discounts applicable:

a. Any Corporate or individual group of 5 and above participants are entitled to a Group Discount. Refer to fee table for details.

b. In case a invoice is requested for individual groups, then only a single invoice will be raised on the name of the primary registrant (ie Multiple invoices will NOt be raised).

ACTIVE PMI MEMBERS: INR 13500
ACTIVE PMI Credential Holders: INR 14500
Other individual delegates: INR 17500
Government Employees/Academicians/Students: INR 11000
CORPORATE/ GROUP Registrations of 5 to 10 delegates: INR 14000
CORPORATE & GROUP Registrations of above 10 delegates:  INR 13000

5. Cancellation/Refund & Transfer of Registration:


a. Cancellation and/or refund of registration is NOT allowed for any category, however registration can be transferred, provided the request for transfer is made on or before 31st October 2016. If in case the category of registration differs, balance amount if any will be payable by the delegate. No refunds balance amount will be given in a case where the transfer is being done to someone eligible for a greater discount.

b. All transfers requests are subject to scrutiny and may be rejected by the organizing committee if found inappropriate.

c. Transfers not applicable in case of Early Bird offers.

 

6. Pricing and fee categories 

a) All participation fees mentioned are inclusive of 15% service tax

b) Government Employees include all employees working for Central and any state government organization (excluding PSUs) in India

c) The Govt./Academicians/Student fee category of INR 11000 is limited to a maximum of 35 seats and will be allocated on first come first serve basis. This category will not be available once these 35 seats are booked.

d) Academicians include only full time professors

e) Students include only full time students

 

Important points for delegates

  • Registrations open on 29th August 2016 and close on 31st October 2016
  • Attendees can claim maximum of 18 Professional Development Units (PDUs) for attending the conference. Those attending the Early Bird session on 17th November can claim upto 2.5 additional PDUs.
    (Note: PDUs mentioned are the upper limit on number of PDU’s that can be claimed. However this may vary depending on the PMI credential you hold.)
  • You are bound by the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
  • Members and credential holders should provide membership number and credential number at the time of registering.
  • You will receive an e-mail of acknowledgement upon completing the registration process. A confirmation mail with your unique ID will be sent a week prior to the conference date.
    Please print out the confirmation page while registering online and carry it to the venue.
  • In case any data that is provided during registration is found to be false and/or incorrect, PMI India reserves right to cancel the registration and no refund will be provided.
  • Inaugural/Valedictory Sessions, Keynote/Special Addresses will be conducted in the main hall. These events will also be telecasted live to a separate hall at the venue for comfortable viewing.
  • Entry in the main hall will be on first come first serve basis.
  • Providing of incorrect information for the purpose of claiming offers or otherwise, will lead to cancellation of registration and the registration amount paid shall not be refunded.
  • All registration processes either online or off-line should be completed within the specified date(s).
  • Include your registration number, e-mail address, name and dates of the event in all future correspondence.
