1. Ankit Tiwari 

 

An Indian playback singer and music director in television and Bollywood, Ankit

Tiwari received acclaim for his song, Sunn Raha Hai for the movie Aashiqui 2. He

has composed music for films such as Aashiqui 2, Do Dooni Chaar, Saheb Biwi

Aur Gangster and Ek Villain. His song in this movie, "Sunn Raha Hai" and another

song in the movie Ek Villain named "Galliyan" got him worldwide acclaim, the

former named as the love anthem of the year.

2. Armaan Malik 

 

Armaan malik has sung about 16 films such as W, Jai Ho, Bhootnath, Rakta

Charitra, Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii, Taare Zameen Par, Chillar Party to name a

few.

He has also dubbed for My Name Is Khan for the English boy and also lent his

voice for the character Salim in the radio version of Slumdog Millionaire for BBC

Radio 1. Armaan has also given playback for ‘Tumko Toh Aana Hi Tha’, ‘Love You

Till The End (House Mix) and the ‘Title Track’ for the movie Jai Ho.[2] Apart from

singing, Armaan and his music composer brother Amal Malik also featured in

the beginning of Jai Ho in the song ‘Love You Till The End’.

 

3. Mika 

 

The self-styled 'Badshah of Bollywood', Mika Singh is a prolific singer, composer,

performer and songwriter and is the talent behind numerous Bollywood

chartbusters. The power-packed and inimitable entertainer boasts of a wide

catalogue of groovy smash hits, ranging from “Singh is King” and “Mauja hi

Mauja” to “Agal Bagal”. Mika is known for his specially gripping voice at live

festivals where he sings his heart out to a crazy crowd. At MTV Bollyland, we are

waiting to see the man in action.

4. Neha Kakkar

 

Neha Kakkar is one of the finest performers for the country has seen in a long

time. Her latest song, Sunny Sunny from "Yariyaan" was the biggest hit. Neha

has sung this lovely song with Yo Yo Honey Singh. This new queen of Bollywood

has given back to back super hits like Second Hand Jawani from the movie

"Cocktail", title song of Akshay Kumar's "Blue", Sunny Sunny song of "Yaariyan"

and the latest smashing hit, ‘Manali Trance’ from the film, ‘The Shaukeens’.

7. Shilpa Rao

 In 2006 she recorded the song "Tosey Naina Lagey" for the movie Anwar and

"Saiyaan Re" for the film Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love. She went on to

perform songs in films like The Train ("Woh Ajnabee"), Aamir ("Ek Lau"), Dev D

("Dhol Yaara Dhol", "Ranjhana"), Gulal ("Aisi Saaza"). She recently appeared on

Star World's popular TV series "The Dewarists" in collaboration with "Agnee"

and "Parikrama".

In 2012, Rao sang 'Yaariyaan' for Cocktail. The song got critical success and went

on to became a chart-buster eventually. She ended the year 2012 by working

with academy award winner A. R. Rahman for the song 'Ishq Shava' in Yash

Chopra's last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The song was received well by the critics and

public. In 2013, Rao sang 'Malang' – Dhoom 3 which gave her critical success.

The song went on to become a rage and then a chart-buster. She also sang

"Manmarziyan" a beautiful track composed by Amit Trivedi for the film Lootera.

The year 2014 was a successful year for Rao. Her song "Meherbaan" from Bang

Bang! was a chartbuster and got critical acclaim.

 

8. Sonu Kakkar

 

Sonu Kakkar is an Indian playback singer. She started singing jagrans at the age of five

when her parents moved to Delhi. She later shifted to Mumbai where Bollywood

music director Sandeep Chowta heard her singing in a singing competition and gave

her a break with the song 'Babuji zara dheere chalo'. She is elder sister of singer Neha

Kakkar, who is a bollywood sensation singer now.

 

9. Sukwinder Singh

 

An Indian Bollywood playback singer, Singh is famous for singing "Chaiyya Chaiyya"

for which he won the Best Male Playback Award at the 1999 Filmfare Awards. The

song, from Mani Ratnam's 1998 film Dil Se.., was composed by A. R. Rahman, written

by Gulzar, and sung in duet with Sapna Awasthi. Singh later gained more international

fame for singing "Jai Ho" from the film Slumdog Millionaire, which won an Academy

Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for a Motion

Picture, Television or Other Visual Media. His rendition for the 2014 released film

Haider fetched him the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer.

 

 

10. Siddharth Mahadevan

 

Siddharth Mahadevan is an Indian playback singer and composer who is known

for his songs in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in which he sang "Zinda" and the

rock version of the title song "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag". He sang the song Malang

Malang for music director Pritam in the movie Dhoom 3.

 

11. Nakash Aziz

 

Nakash Aziz has collaborated with A. R. Rahman on films like Highway,

Raanjhanaa, Rockstar, Delhi 6 and I in Hindi. He is popularly known for playback

 of songs like "Sari Ke Fall Sa" and "Gandi Baat" from the film R... Rajkumar

 (2013) and "Dhating Nach" from film Phata Poster Nikhla Hero (2013); all

 picturized on Shahid Kapoor.

His unique style combined with his global following has earned him the

recognition as being one of the top DJs / Producers in the Bollywood Music

industry today. 

From “Subah Hone Na De” to “Character Dheela” his ear and talent for

producing hit songs can been seen across the charts around the world. In

2011 he was awarded the prestigious Indian Music Academy Award for “Bin

Tere”. His recent release “Mashup of the Year” has defied the rules to
